Cylinder Inspection and Testing (including refurbishment)

Dominion Gas has been approved as an Inspection Body of transportable pressure equipment by UKAS on behalf of the Department for Transport. This approval, a legal requirement under Statutory Instrument 2007 no.1573 'The Carriage of Dangerous Goods and Use of Transportable Pressure Equipment Regulations', includes inspection and testing to the following standards;

BS EN 1968:2002, Transportable gas cylinders. Periodic inspection and testing of seamless steel gas cylinders

BS EN 1802:2002, Transportable gas cylinders. Periodic inspection and testing of seamless aluminium alloy gas cylinders

BS EN 1803:2002, Transportable gas cylinders. Periodic inspection and testing of welded carbon steel gas cylinders

BS EN 14876:2007, Transportable gas cylinders. Periodic inspection and testing of welded steel pressure drums

In addition, Dominion Gas has the capability to pressure test Gas Storage Tubes and other Pressure Equipment located on board sea going vessels.
